Welcome! Marhaba!

Food has always been more than just a meal in my family—it’s a story, a connection, and a way to preserve culture. Many of the recipes I use today trace back to my grandfather, who brought them with him from Lebanon. These dishes, lovingly shared with my mom and then passed down to me, carry generations of tradition, flavor, and memory. Each ingredient holds meaning, and every bite tells a story of resilience and heritage.

When I host pop-ups or collaborate with other Arab-owned businesses, I see the incredible potential food has to bridge gaps. It’s not just about sharing something delicious; it’s about creating moments that spark curiosity and dialogue. The Middle East is often misunderstood, reduced to stereotypes or political headlines. Through my work, I want to challenge those misconceptions by showcasing the richness and complexity of the region—its flavors, hospitality, and deep sense of community.

I love watching someone try tabbouleh or baba ghanoush for the first time, asking questions about the spices or traditions behind it. Those interactions are where the magic happens. Food becomes a catalyst for understanding, a way to highlight the shared humanity we often overlook.

Ultimately, my goal isn’t just to feed people—it’s to create a cultural exchange. Through these experiences, I hope to foster respect for the beauty of Arab traditions and encourage others to find connections in our similarities, one meal at a time.
